“I’m An American Bad Ass”, are the lyrics to one of my favorite Kid Rock songs. Those lyrics perfectly describe the 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 ‘Cobra Jet’ ($70k-$80k) that’s up for auction in beautiful Hershey, Pennsylvania. 1969 was the first year Ford introduced the 428 cu. in. OHV Cobra Jet V8 series of engines. These engines were paired with a Cruise-O-Matic transmission and put out 335 horses. This ride was completely restored back to its original specifications by rotisserie restoration, taking over three years to complete. The auction is taking place on October 9th and along with this iconic sports car, you will find an assortment of boats and other very rare vehicles.
About Lee King
I live in a great city outside of Philadelphia and run Muted in my free time. Being close to a number of large metropolitan areas gives me a lot of inspiration for menswear and gear. Originally from Pittsburgh as well as a Suburban Detroit transplant I went to Michigan State University and spent most of my career managing global IT services for Pharmaceuticals. Besides mens clothing I enjoy, bonsai, my family, dogs and hanging by the pool.
