The 2015 McLaren P1 GTR ($3M) will be makings its formal debut March 15th at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. It is the track-only version of the British automaker’s iconic GTR badge. It features a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V-8 paired with an electric motor. This combination puts out 986 horses and produces an amazing 1,455 pounds of downforce at 150 mph. The stance on the GTR is 80mm wider then its P1 counterpart and it features alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli slick tires. We’re not sure how many of these bad boys will be made, but the first folks allowed to purchase one of these will be previous P1 owners. Making the 2015 McLaren P1 GTR a classic out of the gate.
About Lee King
I live in a great city outside of Philadelphia and run Muted in my free time. Being close to a number of large metropolitan areas gives me a lot of inspiration for menswear and gear. Originally from Pittsburgh as well as a Suburban Detroit transplant I went to Michigan State University and spent most of my career managing global IT services for Pharmaceuticals. Besides mens clothing I enjoy, bonsai, my family, dogs and hanging by the pool.
