Go anywhere. That’s the basic concept behind scramblers. The soon to be released 2016 BMW R NineT Scrambler ($TBA) looks like it’ll hold to that montra very nicely. The new bike is built to be minimal, but I’m sure customizers out there will find ways to make it more so. The NineT Scrambler features a classic 1200 cc boxer engine and a high dual silencer giving it a power sound. The difference from a standard NineT includes repositioned handlebars and seat to promote an upright, relaxed seating position. The Scrambler also has a slightly longer spring travel to help cushion the blow from rough terrain.
Honda has recently revealed its new Honda Bulldog Concept Motorcycle ($TBA). The bike is meant to be Honda’s next generation leisure motorcycle, perfect for those quick camping trips or long weekend getaways. The Bulldog features 15-inch wide tires, a low 730mm seat height for stability, and a respectable liquid-cooled 4-stroke DOHC inline 2-cylinder 400cc engine. […]
