American Sniper ($TBA) is the story of Christopher Scott Kyle, the most lethal sniper in the American Navy’s history. During his four tours in the Irag War he is accredited with 160 confirmed kills, with 255 probable kills. During his time at war he was awarded with multiple commendations for acts of heroism and meritorious service in combat. Christopher was honorably discharged from the Navy in 2009. In 2013 while taking target practice at a shooting range near Chalk Mountain, Texas he was killed along with his friend Chad Littlefied. The man responsible is currently awaiting trial.
American Sniper is directed by Clint Eastwood and stars Bradley Cooper as Chris Kyle and his wife is played by Sienna Miller. It will open up to select theaters on Christmas Day, December 25th, and will go in full release on January 16th.
