Bang & Olufsen’s Wireless Beolab 18 Speakers ($6590) are the company’s latest update to their most successful loudspeaker, the BeoLab 8000. You can see that the Beolab 18 and 8000 share the same bones, but the 18’s have clearly marked out their own identity with some notable features. This includes a front panel made from 21 wooden lamellas that come in black, white and solid oak. The speaker has two 4-inch midrange drivers mated with a 160 watt amplifier. These speakers support Olufsens new wireless platform, WiSA. WiSA is capable of streaming 5.2-5.8 GhZ with 24bit audio, up to 96KHz. Because these speakers utilize smaller 4″ drivers you may want to pair them with the new BeoLab 19 ($3395).
