If you love Triumphs, and you love Happy Days, then this is your lucky day because Fonzie’s Happy Days Television Series 1949 Triumph Motorcycle ($100K) is up for auction on eBay. Cycle World writer Wendy F. Black was originally assigned to track the bike down for a story in 2000. One of her contacts, Bud Ekins, said there were three Triumph 500cc Trophies used on the show, two of which had gone missing. The one he knew about was sitting in plain site at Mean Mashall’s Motorcycles in Oakland California. Marshall Ehlers, the shop owner, bought the bike from Ekins, who then put the bike up for auction on Bonhams. This bike is obviously as is and comes with all the scars that go with almost 70 years of age. The bike has been fully documented and vetted by Bonhams Auctions.
