G-Shock is slowly dipping its toes into the smartwatch market with its upcoming release of the G-Shock G’Mix ($220). Their new watch will first be released in Japan and then to the rest of the planet later this year. Once paired with your smartphone the G’Mix lets you adjust volume, and skip tracks. You can also control equalization settings through the dial as well. Additional features include SoundHound integration, and a way to ring your lost phone.
The Blacklamp Carbon Watch by Schofield ($15,900) is a limited edition mechanical watch. For the case, Schofield uses a propriety material called Morta.
