If you don’t know already, Big Ass Fans make big ass fans. But now they’re also making smart fans. Their latest endeavor is the Haiku Fan with SenseME Technology ($1100-$1300). The SenseME tech detects when you enter or leave a room and will automatically turn on or off. It will monitor the rooms temperature and humidity and adjust fan speed accordingly. And lastly it learns your comfort preferences and makes fan speed adjustments to find the zone that makes you the most comfortable. Multiple options are available including fan sizes of 52″ and 60″, fan materials and colors, LED lighting options, and drop heights. The Haiku with SEnseME is available for pre-order now with shipments expected the end of July.
