Wearable technology is up there with VR in terms of being the next big thing; wearable technology is something many big companies are attempting, but the famous clothing designer and manufacturer Levi’s might have beaten them to the finish line with their newest creation. The new Levi Commuter Trucker Jacket ($TBA) uses Google technology and features jacquard tech that is woven into the denim and connects to a removable tag. This allows you to swipe and tap to do things like control your music player or even take calls. Levi’s is planning to release it next spring, and we can’t wait to see how it works.
About Lee King
I live in a great city outside of Philadelphia and run Muted in my free time. Being close to a number of large metropolitan areas gives me a lot of inspiration for menswear and gear. Originally from Pittsburgh as well as a Suburban Detroit transplant I went to Michigan State University and spent most of my career managing global IT services for Pharmaceuticals. Besides mens clothing I enjoy, bonsai, my family, dogs and hanging by the pool.
