Melbourne, Australia: The Melbourne Watch Company (MWC), specialising in accessible luxury timepieces are today celebrating. With the release of the Melbourne Flinders Watch “Showroom” Edition ($645) their first limited edition timepiece (numbered 1-100), this also marks the use of the first Swiss automatic movement (Sellita SW200-1). The Flinders will be assembled in house, with customers given the opportunity to choose serial number, case, hands and strap variation. To mark the occasion, these 100 customers will also be given the opportunity for their name or initials featured in a new artwork hung within MWC’s showroom.
Pre-orders for the Flinders Showroom Edition are now open with the collection to be released 1st week of March.
The Hamilton Khaki Pioneer Pilot Black Dial Watch ($398) is a less expensive watch that just looks great.
