Microscape ($75+) uses proprietary techniques that combine 3D scan data with computer modeling to create realistic models of the world’s major cities beautifully. The current Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign is a proof of concept and will feature historic landmarks surrounding Manhattan. You will get your choice of 1 of 24 tiles at the early bird pricing. Each tile is a 6″x6″ 1:5000 scale replica which covers about one-half square mile of the island. They’re made out of a durable white thermoplastic that’s non-toxic and biodegradable. For those with a little more bank, they will also allow you to special order the complete island, consisting of 200 tiles for the all-in price of $25,000.
