The Midual Type 1 ($185,000) is for those looking for an uber elite status symbol. The Type 1 just made its debut at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in California. So what exactly goes into a $185,000 machine. Well, the power plant is a fuel-injected DOHC four-valve transverse flat that puts out 106 horses at 8000 rpm with about 74 ft-lb of torque at 5300 rpm. Additional features include an aluminum alloy frame, 43mm Ohlins FGRT front fork and a catilevered Ohlins TTX36 rear shock supporting 17-inch wire-spoke wheels wrapped in Michelin tires (120/70 front & 180/55 rear). Brembo brakes, leather hand grips, and your choice of Australian Oak or metal instrument panel finishes finish off the luxury touches. Only 35 of the Midual Type 1’s will be made available.
