The Minus-8 Square Chrono Watch ($400) “is a modern embodiment of classic aviation timepieces.” The Square features a 40mm stainless steel case. The case is 10.25mm thick and is PVD-Coated. The dial has 3-hands and date window. The sub-dials are operated via two rectangular pushers on each side of the main crown. The movement is the workhouse Miyota Quartz FS21, which has an accuracy of roughly <20 seconds per month. Water resistance is acceptable at 10 ATM (100 meters/ 300 feet). The whole kit is topped with a sapphire crystal to which greatly improves scratch resistance, clarity and strength. The Square would make a great daily watch.
