The 918 Porsche Spyder ($1 MILLION) is looking to make a name for itself at the Frankfurt Auto Show. Hybrid supercars have normally been the realm of McLaren and LaFerrari, now Porsche is throwing its hat into the ring. The 918 Spyder is a carbon fiber two-seater with a 4.6 liter V8 for its main power station. The V8 produces 608 horses with 390 foot pounds of torque. Add to that two electric motors to power the front and rear wheels you get a total output of 887 horses and 590 foot pounds of torque. So how can it move? The 918 will get you to 62 mph in an amazing 2.8 seconds and to 124 mph in under 8 seconds. It definitely looks like Porsche is going to be able to hold its own against the big boys.
