For many, the line between Sylvester Stallone and his iconic creation Rocky Balboa is distinctly blurred. This is the original movie that Stallone tried to make for years and it only hit the screen in 1976 when he finally persuaded a studio to allow him to play the role himself. Rocky ($11) is the story of a Philadelphia boxer who gets a shot at the world heavyweight title is one that is now etched in movie folklore. With one of the most memorable soundtracks ever and an amazing cast including Talia Shire, Bert Young and Carl Weathers, many of us rate Rocky as one our favorite movies of all time.
