I just saw this band in Philadelphia, in a small intimate venue and the show was incredible. It’s so nice to see a band in a small club setting right before they get popular. We had the same experience with Sia, The Killers, Joywave and now Run River North.
Formally known as Monsters Calling Home Run River North is a Korean-American indie folk-rock band. This unusual mix of styles has given the six-member band a unique and creative sound that is hard to find anywhere else. The six-member ensemble complement each other wonderfully with lead vocalists Alex Hwang and Sally Kang offering a lush and soothing sound. Guitarist and violinist Daniel Chae, bassist Joseph Chun, drummer John Chong and violinist Jennifer Rim round out the ensemble to form a stunning and unique group. Their current hit is on their album Drinking From A Salt Pond ($9.99), which is available as an iTiunes download. Check out the video below.
For everyone one who couldn’t make it to the show you can now Watch Kanye West’s full set at Philadelphia’s Made In America Festival. Kanye rocked it. His set included plenty of rants, and plenty of his most popular tracks including ‘Blood On The Leaves’, ‘Black Skinhead’, ‘Don’t Like’, ‘Cold, and ‘Runaway’. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ISiJzV3r8GE
