Why don’t people like electric cars? Could it be the styling isn’t cool, limited drive range, takes too long to charge. Whatever the reason, it looks as though Silex is taking care of all of those excuses with their Chreos EV ($TBA). The Chreos is a combination of luxury, performance and green technology. Silex expects the Chreos to be available by 2015 and will produce only 300 units. The vehicle is built completely of carbon fiber, and each wheel has its own motor which can develop 640bhp and 4400Nm of torque. As far as performance, the Chreos can reach 62 mph in 2.9 seconds with a top speed of 190mph. On a single charge you can go over 600 miles. This car is being made for the high-end market, lets hope some of these features trickle down to standard consumer models.
