Well it’s about time. EA has finally come out with the next version of its vastly successful building simulation game SimCity ($60). The original game debuted in 1989 and it allowed you to create sprawling metropolises. The updated version builds on the same concept but utilizes the new GlassBox engine which allows for an insane level of detail. In the newest version you will be able to manage up to 16 cities and compete against others using the multiplayer capabilities. Other updates include curved roads and finite resources. You can pick up the PC version on March 5th, and the Mac version later in spring.
