OK, I think The Floating Seahorse ($1.7M) is all I need. Officially launched at the Dubai International Boat Show, it’s basically a floating villa. They are planning to build 42 of them located just offshore from St. Petersburg and Main Europe Island. Each will have its own plot and are just a short boat ride from Dubai. 35 have already been sold.
Each Floating Seahorse will have three levels, one of which is underwater, another at sea level, and an upper deck. Rather than putting the master bed and bath on the upper deck as you would expect, they are completely submerged underwater with breathtaking views of the surrounding coral reef and marine life.
You will also have awesome views at sea level with floor to ceiling windows, a complete kitchen, dining area, open plan livingroom, and a sun deck. But lets not forget the upper deck, which contains a smaller kitchenette, glass bottom jacuzzi, external shower, a second informal bed, mini bar, and area for impromptu dinners.
Like I said at the beginning, I want one. But I’m pretty sure when they announce the price tag it’ll be just a tad out of my range.
