There are some movies that stick in your head from the first time you viewed them, and you find yourself recalling scenes from them years later. The Matrix ($7) is one of these movies, and from the moment an everyday computer hacker learns about the computer generated reality and the part he is destined to play in its survival we are set for a roller coaster ride that includes some crazy martial arts we had never seen the likes of before. Written and directed by Andy Wachowski and starring Keanu Reeves, Laurence Fishburne and Carrie-Anne Moss, The Matrix is a modern classic and one of my all time favorites.
