Old School Badass, are the words that come to mind when describing the Twin-Turbo 1970 Pontiac Firebird ($TBA) that’s heading to auction in Chicago October 9-11. This firebird was completely rebuilt by All Speed Customs who are based in Muskegon, Michigan and has been seen all over the world in dozens of publications. The power plant features an ASC built twin-turbo Pontiac 455 with twin turbos. The motor is based on a Butler aluminum block paired with an Eagle forged crank and rods. With just 12.5 psi of boost, you get about 1100 horses from this badboy. If you’re near Chicago this week you owe it to yourself to stop by to check out this beauty and 100’s of other great cars going up for auction.
About Lee King
I live in a great city outside of Philadelphia and run Muted in my free time. Being close to a number of large metropolitan areas gives me a lot of inspiration for menswear and gear. Originally from Pittsburgh as well as a Suburban Detroit transplant I went to Michigan State University and spent most of my career managing global IT services for Pharmaceuticals. Besides mens clothing I enjoy, bonsai, my family, dogs and hanging by the pool.
