The Villa Vals By Christian Muller Architects and SeARCH ($TBA) is a villa in the Valsertal valley of Switzerland. Embedded into the side of a hill, construction of the villa left the surrounding nature untouched. It was built from quartzite recovered from the site and nearby thermal baths. Access to the residence is provided through a nearby wooden barn and a connecting underground tunnel. The most amazing thing about this home is the view of the mountain valley perfectly framed when looking out of the the circular cut made in the mountainside.
