Some of us barely have the patience to watch a full T.V. show. Imagine the dedication it would take to build a home for 55 years. This is how long it took to build Jim Olson’s Cabin Retreat ($TBA). The home started as a 14 sq. Ft. cabin and was transformed over years into a stunning retreat. Starting when he was just 18, Jim carefully layered features year after year incorporating past additions seamlessly. Each layer revealing the cabin’s history. Features include steel columns, floor-to-ceiling windows, and fir flooring. The flooring extends from the interior rooms to the outside decking, seamlessly connecting the interior and the exterior.
