From the company that’s brought us some of the most iconic guitars, comes a line of in-ear monitors ($99+). They feature a new patented technology and engineering that provide an immersive listening experience at every price-point. The higher-end models in the line feature a 3D-printed Digital Hybrid Technology (DHT) housing that is derived from scanning thousands of ears for a perfect fit. Fender says the DHT shell will fit 95 percent of ears, just like a custom-molded monitor, that would go for hundreds more. Fender was able to enter this new category with their acquisition of Tennessee-based company Aurisonics, Inc. The Fender In-Ear Monitors will be available in five models, starting later this year.
About Lee King
I live in a great city outside of Philadelphia and run Muted in my free time. Being close to a number of large metropolitan areas gives me a lot of inspiration for menswear and gear. Originally from Pittsburgh as well as a Suburban Detroit transplant I went to Michigan State University and spent most of my career managing global IT services for Pharmaceuticals. Besides mens clothing I enjoy, bonsai, my family, dogs and hanging by the pool.
