Vic Elford is a racing legend who won numerous races with Porsche in the 60’s. He’s gotten together with Autodromo to create The Prototipo Chronograph – Vic Elford Limited Edition ($775). The dial of the watch is inspired by the paint on Elford’s Porsche 907 he drove in his victory at the 1968 Targa Florio race in Sicily. Representing Elford’s race number only 224 numbered pieces will be made. The case features the race course and Elford’s practice lap record. You also get a 44-page booklet hand-signed by Elford with your purchase. The Prototipo uses a Japanese made Seiko VK63 Chronograph movement, has a stainless steel case (48mm x 42mm), a sapphire crystal, and is water resistant to 50 meters.
