Thee Time Carlin ($16) catalogs the irreverence that has become the trademark of George Carlin. Ever cynical and never failing to make you laugh out loud this is a terrific book. George Carlin has been at the top of his game for more than 4 decades now, delivering on subjects many other comics shy away from. His genius ‘absurdist’ wordplay has to be heard, or read, to be believed. This is Carlin’s 4th book and with the first three enjoying combined sales of over 2m copies this volumes success is pretty much guaranteed. Brilliant.
