The movement is connected to your smartphone and automatically displays the exact time. Even if you go abroad it will automatically adjust to the correct time zone, anywhere in the world. While the secondary analogue dial let’s you know how close you are to meeting your daily objectives. Activité is water-resistant to 5 ATM (good in the shower and a dip in the pool, but not much more) and is powered by a standard CR2025 cell which will last a full year. The wrist strap has quick release spring bars so you can change between the included French calf leather strap and plastic strap at a moments notice.
Now for the smart part of the watch. Just like all activity trackers it has an embedded accelerometer that will track your steps, walking, running or swimming distance and calories burned. It also monitors your sleep cycles; time to fall asleep, and length of light and deep sleep. The Health Mate App allows you to setup and alarm clock which causes the watch to slightly vibrate when it goes off. The built-in vibrator also lets you know when you’ve reached each of your daily objectives, like number of steps or length of sleep.
