By the end of 2019, Volvo Cars have announced their intention to ensure that every single one of their cars released will be fitted with an electric motor. Bringing an end to the internal combustion vehicles that have served for decades. This announcement is one of the most significant from any car manufacturer to date and marks the beginning of a new era of motor vehicles. Five fully electrical run cars will be launched between 2019 and 2021 including 2 from the brand’s high-performance range, Polestar. The cars will either be fitted with a petrol and diesel plug-in hybrid featuring a 48-volt engine. The move underlines Volvo’s commitment to minimizing their impact on the environment.
